3. Now select the type tool and type and place drag it on the darker part of the image.

4. Now select the image layer, holding the ctrl key left click on the text layer. When done copy the selection and paste it. Name this layer as test.

5. When done, select the test layer and right click on it and select the prespective option and while still holding down your left mouse button drag the right top small square box upward.

6. Now holding the ALT key press the up arrow 10 times when done select all the 10 layers and merge it.

2. On our next step we will select the type tools, before you type select the font style and font color you want to use
want to work with, for this tutorial i have select the font sytle plantagenet and font color to #13b7e0.

3.Create a duplicate copy of the text layer and hide the original layer, now rename the copy layer as floating.

4. Select the floating layer and right click on the layer and select the rasterize type, now free transform the text by CTRL+T or go to Menu Edit> Free Transform and then right click on the text and select the option perspective and adjust as shown below.

5. Now holding down the Alt key and press the up arrow key 25 times. You will find something like the image shown below.

6. Now hide the layer floating copy 25 and the layer floating and merge the layers that is floating copy to floating copy 24. To merge these layer select the layer floating copy 24 and then hold down the shit key and click on the layer floating copy and hit the shortcut key CTRL+E.

(e) Stain – Blend mode to color burn, opacity = 40%, angle 19, distance = 11px,size = 14px and set the contour to cone inverted.

(f) Gradient overlay – set the blend mode to linear light, opacity = 15% and
scale = 111%

(g) Stroke – set the size = 1px, opacity = 40% and change the color to black

4. Now we are done with our tutorials, lets go two more steps to add another simple text effect on it.

Start ImageReady. Make sure the Animation palette is visible. If it is not, choose Window > Show Animation to make it visible.

Seven steps to construct an animation

1. Create basic image (or open an existing multilayered image)

We will construct a simple image, a sign that says “WELCOME”, using the Toolbox.

* First, select File>New
* In the dialog box that opens set: Name: Welcome, Image size: Width 200, Height 40, and Content: transparent

Click “OK”

Select the Text Tool in the Toolbox and click the blank transparent image. Type “WELCOME” at the cursor on the image. We want to use a 30 px Bold Arial font so enter the values below in the Type Tool palette and change the foreground color to green.

After achieving the desired font and color the Move tool can be used to center the text in the image. This is the basic image we will use to form the animation.

2. Add animation frames

A thumbnail of the basic image should be located in the Animation palette. The initial frame needs to be duplicated several times. This is done by clicking the “Duplicate Current Frame” icon . The result should look like.

3. Make changes in frames using Layer palette

Changes will be made in the first and third frames to create the animation. In the third frame we will change the opacity so the “WELCOME” message fades away. We will change the first frame so that the message will move “onstage” from the left side to the center.

Select the third frame. Then in the Layer palette move the opacity slider to 0%.

The message in the third frame should now be invisible.

Now select the first frame. Using the Marquee tool (from the toolbox) select the text “WELCOME”. Then, using the Move tool, move the selection just off the left edge of the image. The image below shows the text partly moved.

4. Add frames with Tween

We now have three frames where the message is visible in the 2nd frame, but invisible in the 1st and 3rd. We will use the Tween Command to fill in frames to create the desired actions.

First we will add frames between the 2nd and 3rd frames that will cause the message to fade away. Select the 2nd frame. Open the Animation palette menu (by clicking the small triangle in the upper right of the Animation palette) and select Tween.

In the Tween dialog box select to add 6 frames, Tween with Next Frame, and select Opacity to vary.

Clicking “OK” should add 6 more frames.

Now we want to use tweening to move the message from offstage to the center. Select the 1st frame and select Tween from the Animation menu as before. Use 6 new frames again, but this time check Position and uncheck Opacity as the feature to vary. Clicking “OK” adds 6 more frames as indicated.

It only remains to set the delay between frames.

5. Add delays between frames

Go to the Animation menu and choose Select All Frames. This will highlight all the frames. Alternately, the (number on the) first frame can be clicked and the last frame can be shift+clicked. With all the frames selected click the small down triangle to the right of sec at the bottom of one frame. Choose a delay, for example, 0.1 seconds. This is applied to all the selected frames. To set the delay for a single frame, for example Number 7, select it alone and change its delay.

6. Preview animation

To view the animation go to File>Preview File>Netscape (or whatever browser is listed). It is good to check what the animation looks like in all the popular browsers.

7. Save animation

The layered animation is saved as a .psd file using File>Save Original.
To save it as a gif animation use File>Save Optimized.
An HTML file which includes the code for placing the animation on a web page can also be generated by going to File>Export>Save HTML.

STEP- 2- DOUBLE CLICK ON THE LAYER (you can see a “new layer” window pop up) click ok. if you want you can rename the layer 0 to layer something that fit your requirement. here i rename the layer 0 to picture.

STEP- 3- select the text tool from the tool box. Type your name, here i select font sytle Verdana-bold-font size-252. you can choose your own font style and size. this effect work best with true font style,

step-4- now select the magic wand tool from the tool box pressing the “shift key” select all the letter you have type one by one.

step-5 now select the first layer(picture layer) and press ctrl+c to copy and ctrl+v to paste, now you can see a new layer on the layer channel

step-6 now disable your picture layer, to see the text effect. lets add some effect.

step-7 create a new layer for the background, you can either choose a picture or a use background color. add some effect like shadow or use different type of brush shade. enjoy

Now what we are going to do is fill the background with black.

NOW let create a text with a white font color and lets make sure we select the nice font type to bold and we are going to type PHOTOSHOP.

Now we are going to apply layer style to this text so double click on the text layer and that will bring a layer style box.

Now first thing we are going to do is we want to add a color gradient to our text with dark red to bottom light red on top.

Add a white stroke and Bavel and Emboss.

Change the Bavel and emboss structure size to 3 and soften to 3.

Lets create a inner glow

Now what we are going do is adding a glassy effect, you might have seen in lots of logo where there is a slight white reflection over the top.

Create a new layer make sure you new layer is on the top of the text layer.

NOW lets create a shape, select the pen tool and make sure you have the select layers and your foreground to white.

Make a straight line from the left to right using your pen tool.(we are going to end up creating a rectangular that is going to apper on the top half of the text.)

Click on the line to add a point(to make a wave style)holding ur Ctrl key move the point we just added upward now release the ctrl and click on the line to add a point holding your Ctrl pull down the point we just add and realease the ctrl. Now we have nice wave going down.

Now complete the rectangular continue drawing the straight line from the right end point.

Right click on the layer and restrize layer.

Now Ctrl click on the text layer, now lets contract the selection, go to SELECT>MODIFY>CONTRACT set the contract by to 3.

Now lets delete everything outside the selection, so what we need to do is to invert the selection, press ctrl+shift+i and press delete and press ctrl+d to deselct everything.

Now change the opacity to 20%

In this tutorial i will tell you how to give a simple blood text effect using a text with simple 4 new layer a

brush and a image. please download the blood effect brush before you start the tutorial.

1. open new document 600 x 500(layer 1)
fill this layer with black color(this will be our background)

2. In Step 2 we will select the text tool from the tool box click on the working area and type. here
i type the word “GUN” use font style Arial and style bold and the font size to 72 or above. Remember to
select the font color to white(you can select you own font style and font color thats depends on your choice)
now we have a new layer called gun.(see at your layer channel by default all the text layer name is the text

you type so we have a layer gun)

3. Now duplicate your text layer,(by default your text layer name will be “gun copy”)

4. Now disable the text layer “gun” from your layer channel (see the image below how to disable)

Clicking on the eye show on the image below will disable your layer, and clicking on it again will enable
your layer.

5. Now select the layer”gun copy” and right click on it, you can see a pop up window select rasterize type.

6. Select the brush tool from the text box and then select your brush style blood. Using your brush click on the
text(its important how you use the brush i suggest to make the brush size medium)

7. Now enable the text layer “gun”; selecting the layer “gun” select the “magic wand tool”; from the tool box
pressing shift key from the keyboard select the word you type with the help of magic wand tool. release the
shift key, now you can see the selected area.

8. Select the layer”gun copy”; and press CTRL+C to copy and CTRL+V to paste. you have a new layer now “layer 2″;

9. Select the the layer 1 and select the brush tools and add some more blood effect make sure you dont mess up.

10. Now your blood text effect is ready. you add some more effect using the “blending option”;

2.Select Type tool and change the font style to Bookman Old Style and font color to #dbd7d7, for this tutorial i m going to type “shierel”(thats the name of my friend).

3.Double click on the text layer and select the inner glow and and change the color from yellow to dark gray #756B6B set the size to 5px.

4.Now create a new layer and name it highlight, holding the Ctrl key click on the text layer.

5.Now go to Select>modify>contract and set the contract by to 3 and fill the selected area with white color(Do not deselect the selected area).

6.Now select the elliptical marquee tool and using your left key press twice or thrice to move left after you make the move press delete, by now you have the plastic effect, let add some effect to look more cool.

7.Now Go to Filter>blur>Gaussian Blur and set the radius to 1.0.

8.Now lets add some depth to it select the text layer and double click on it and select the drop shadow option and change the distance to 3px and size to 9px. Now we have done with the plastic text effect tutorials.

Impact Using the Horizontal Type Tool, write some large text in white.

For this tutorial, I wrote “world” in 60 pt with the font Arial.

Rasterize the text ( Layer > Rasterize > Text ).

Rename the layer that has the now rasterized text “Text”.

Step 2

Duplicate layer “Text” and rename the new layer “Text 2″. Hide layer “Text 2″ by clicking on the eye to the left of it on the Layer Palette.

Activate layer “Text” on the Layer Palette and merge all visible layers ( Layer > Merge Visible ).

Transform the image 90 degrees clockwise ( Edit > Transform > 90 degrees CW )

Wind 1Apply the Wind filter ( Filter > Stylize > Wind ) with the method “Wind” and the Direction “From the Right”. Repeat ( Ctrl-f ) this filter.

Now, apply the Wind filter ( Filter > Stylize > Wind ) again except this time, use the Direction “From the Left”. Repeat ( Ctrl-f ) this filter.

Step 3

Transform the image 90 degrees counter-clockwise ( Edit > Transform > 90 degrees CCW ). We are now going to apply the Wind filter again except this time, only once in each direction.

Wind 2Apply the Wind filter ( Filter > Stylize > Wind ) with the method “Wind” and the Direction “From the Right”.

Now, apply the Wind filter ( Filter > Stylize > Wind ) again except this time, use the Direction “From the Left”.

RippleApply the Ripple Filter ( Filter > Distort > Ripple ) to make the light wavy.

Hue/SaturationOpen the Hue/Saturation window ( Image > Adjustments > Hue/Saturation ) and press Ok with the default values.

Step 4

Final Shocking TextUnhide layer “Text 2″ and activate it on the Layer Palette.

Select the text on the layer by pressing Ctrl then clicking on the thumbnail of the layer on the Layer Palette.

Contract ( Select > Contract ) the selection by 2 pixels. Now Fill ( Edit > Fill ) in the selection with black ( Hex #000000 ).

Final step

First, merge all visible layers ( Layer > Merge Visible ).

Duplicate the only existing layer twice.

Change the Blending Mode of the middle layer to “screen”.

Change the Blending Mode of the top layer to “overlay”.
