Color to black and white

Open the file you want to work with, now duplicate the layer and disable the original layer by clicking on the eye icon.

1) Open a new Channel Mixer adjustment layer then click to check the box that says Monochrome to make the picture black and white.

2) So by now we have done with the color to black and white picture tutotial in just two step, to add more effct on this picture lets change a part of the picture to color again

3) Click the add vector mask button from the layer channel window (bottom)

4) Activate the original file picture by clicking on the eye again.

5) Click on the Brush Tool (make sure the colors you are working with are black and white).

6) Make sure that you select the duplicate layer

5) Using the color black, carefully brush over the parts of the picture that you want to be in color, (you may need to adjust brush sizes according to the picture).
